Are Regenesis products safe for all pets?
Yes, they are non-toxic, non-irritating and chemical-free. However, they are not recommended for use on injured tissues or in pregnant/lactating animals unless prescribed by a veterinarian.
How long does the effect of the Patch last?
Up to 4 months. Regular exposure to natural light or a UV flashlight maintains its optimal biophysical activity. Simply exposing the patch to UV light for 30 seconds is sufficient to extend the effectiveness for up to 12 hours.
Can I use the gels together with the Patch?
Absolutely. Combined use promotes systemic and local synergistic action, enhancing treatment efficacy.
How often can I apply the gels?
You can apply them every 8 hours. You only need a small amount to be gently massaged onto the area to be treated, without rubbing.
How do I know if the product is working?
You will notice an improvement in posture, movement, general liveliness, and a reduction in nuisance behaviors such as excessive scratching or licking.
How do you clean the Regenesis Pet Patch?
It is important to clean it regularly with water and mild (nonaggressive) detergents, especially the part in contact with the hair. Accumulation of sebum or dirt can reduce effectiveness.
Is it necessary to activate the device manually?
No, the Patch is automatically activated by sunlight or body heat. However, to keep it performing, it is recommended to expose it to UV light (sun or UV flashlight) every 10-12 hours for a few seconds.
Can the Patch be reused on multiple animals?
No. For hygienic and functional reasons, each Patch should be used by only one animal throughout its lifetime (up to 4 months).
How to apply the Patch properly?
It can be attached to the collar or bib with the included Velcro (vertebral area) or locally on an inflamed area by shaving the hair and using an adhesive patch (not included).
Are there any particular contraindications?
Avoid use in the presence of skin lesions, in animals allergic to PVC, or during diagnostic tests. If reactions or concerns arise, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.
